VBS

VBS- The 1 week of the year that we all get excited for and the most tired out! It is all worth it though in the end! This years theme was Rescue Zone where we looked at both community heros- policeman, firefighter, nurses, forest rangers...as well as heroes in the Bible! we were all busy this week with teaching, crafts, skits, games...everything!! I have just put a small portion of what we did to give an overview!

Below: Nate was Captain Crash- can you guess why- he crashed his "helicopter"- made with those pool Noodles and a little spray paint- everynight. The kids LOVED this! He truly was a hit!

On one of the nights we had a police car and firetruck come and give some demonstrations and tips. The kids really enjoyed this! We were going to have the ambulance come too, but that was the night we had tornadoes and rough storms so they were a little busy doing there job!

After a long night-Still have time for Uncle Bub time with Robert- needless to say- guess who is the one still smiling!

This is what our set looked like! It look many hours to do this, but the kids loved it and it worked well with our theme with skits each night!

This past Saturday, we had an Appreciation Picnic for all those that were involved in VBS- we had a game of Softball going- we enjoyed it!

We look forward to next years VBS already! It is on Dinosaurs! Nate and I are already planning on things to do! IT is always a fun time!
